Forgiveness

This past week the Lord was speaking to my husband and me about if we don't forgive; we are turned over to the tormentors/torturers. (Matthew 18:21-35) We spent a lot of time forgiving and leading our sons in forgiveness, making sure we are in right standing with one another so we can be in right standing with God.

When we went to church this weekend, the same theme came up again - forgiveness and unforgiveness leading to torment. One woman shared how there had been unforgiveness held against her. The people who held onto this unforgiveness were still being affected by it months later.
