Speak LifeLynn I came across the name of Frank Laubach. He wrote a short book
called "Letters from a Modern Mystic"...which I found to be inspiring. It is on
the internet if you are not familiar with him, you could look at it. When I was
reading my commentary on Psalm 119, it said it was an example of ejaculatory
prayer (to erupt, burst out or speak loudly). I seem to keep coming across this
form of prayer and way of living. The Psalmist often says, Thy praise shall be
continually in my mouth. Thomas Kelly, said concerning this prayer: “For though we begin the practice of secret prayer with a strong sense that we are the initiators and that by our wills we are establishing our habits, maturing experience brings awareness of being met and tutored, purged and disciplined, simplified and made pliant by His holy will by a power awaiting within us. For God Himself works in our souls, in their deepest depths, taking increasing control as we are progressively willing to be prepared for this wonder.” Desiring to be His every moment....and not to be ashamed or shrink away at His coming.
