Day 52 Declarations - Instructions

Hi all!

We’re so excited that together we can declare God’s goodness and faithfulness to us these past 52 days and turn corporately in faith forward as He begins to lead us to possess all the inheritances of the Promised Land – for our lives, our churches, our cities, our provinces and our nation!

Here are a few guidelines for your meeting (public or homes) on September 13

1) Purpose of the Night - The purpose of us gathering on Day 52 is to have a time of worship to thank God for all that He has done for us during the call and to declare that the church of God is rising up as one army, one body in submission to One Head to see His kingdom come and His will done in our lives, families, churches, cities, provinces and nation like never before.  We are declaring by faith that we are about to enter the Promised Land and possess the inheritance God has ordained, not only for our lives but for generations of faithful believers who, only together with us, will be made complete.  

2) Worship – We encourage you to focus on worship that exalts God’s faithfulness, the trueness of His word and promises, the depths of His unfailing love.  We have compiled a list of some songs that we love that might be a help to your worship teams in positioning their hearts for this time.  You can find them posted under the “worship” section here on the site.

3) Sharing about the Call – As there may be people in the meeting who were not on the consecration call it might be good to share a little bit about what God had revealed to us about the window of grace that we have lived in this past 52 days.  Key would be the picture in Joshua 5 of the army of Israel at Gilgal just prior to possessing the Promised Land.  It has been a time of circumcision and healing – rolling away the reproach of past seasons of bondage (fears, shame, religious performance) and bringing healing that we might be ready to stand by faith as an one army to possess the Promised Land. 

You might want to share how amazing it is that God rallied thousands of people from more than 800 communities in Canada and 45+ foreign countries to walk together through this call.  Wow!

4) The Power of Corporate Declaration of God’s Word.  It may be helpful to share a few scriptures about the power of the spoken word and of unity to prepare people hearts for declarations.  The declarations (you can find them listed in the “declarations” section and also in downloadable form in the “clips” section) are based on the main themes that were covered during the Consecration call and many of the key scriptures that were used.  You are free to use these as you feel led – shorten them or add to them – whatever you feel is great.    

We do suggest though that if you will read them corporately that you provide everyone with a copy and/or put them on PowerPoint (in larger meetings).  Also it would be important for whoever is leading to speak these declarations from a place of faith and proclamation – imparting that spirit so that people are stirred to respond in faith.   

5) The Power of Corporate Hearing – We believe that the Lord will move powerfully in these declarations but also in revelation as we gather together.  We encourage you to give time in your meetings, as the Lord leads, to hear what He is saying to those that have assembled.  We also want to encourage you to please have someone prepare a report on what happened in your meeting and anything the Lord showed you so that we can post them on our website.  In this way we can walk as a corporate body in the nation to see God’s strategies and blueprints for what He is longing to do with us in the next phase.  Please send all reports to kingdom@watchmen.org or fill out the sharing report and please make sure to include the name of the city in which you met.
