Rise Up Oh Canada!
A Call to Two National Intercessory Gatherings

Montreal September 2004/ Edmonton November 2004

For many years we have been on a journey to see corporate unity established among a representation of leadership in the church of Canada. We believe this corporate unity is key to God releasing His governmental authority. As we come into the covenantal unity between French Canada and the many ethnos of English Canada in the wedding in July 2005, we believe the Lord will release to the Canadian church the authority to address spiritual principalities and powers at a national level. This authority will bring, among other things, the deliverance and restoration of First Nations and the release of Canada's destiny to serve and bring healing to the nations.

At the Homecoming Gathering in Montreal last month, we saw God turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers, breaking a curse over both nations (Malachi 4:6) and fulfilling another step in the preparation for the wedding. At this time, God also laid on our hearts that the next "strike of the ground" (2 King 13:8-9) was to be gatherings of the intercessors of the nation. This strategy of the Lord was later confirmed through a prophetic word released by British leader, Sue Mitchell.

This is a moment of Hannah anointing - it is important that Samuel come forth. And therefore the anointing of intercession will be renewed on you in these days. Hannah will start to pour out her soul again. It is impossible to go forth without a Samuel revelation. There is a second phase of a Hannah anointing on you. Let the intercessors find the double anointing. As Hannah was given the double portion, the Lord says, there must be a double anointing of intercession at this stage. That Samuel will come forth, but the second anointing of Hannah must be upon you.

And the Lord says that the double anointing is Hannah and Anna. And that the anointing of Anna is upon you also. That as Anna was in the temple looking for the revelation of Christ, let the elders arise. Let the Anna's arise to be in the temple, looking for the revelation of Christ. And I loose in this place an Anna anointing. The anointing of the older woman has looked for 2 or 3 generations, have remained in the place of looking - let the elder women arise. Let the mothers in the land arise. Let there be an anointing between the barren mothers, let the mothers of the first nations arise at this time and be found in the temple looking for the revelation of the Christ. And let the younger women arise that the Hannah anointing will bring forth Samuel.

Once again we are in a pivotal season in the spiritual destiny of our nation. God wants to birth a "Samuel" revelation into the Canadian church. Who was Samuel? A prophetic voice with the authority of the Lord to decree: The LORD was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of his words fall to the ground (I Samuel 3:19). God is longing to see the revelation of a corporate Samuel: a church moving in unity who can corporately decree the word of the Lord to the nation that God Himself will vindicate so that His name will be feared and honoured in Canada again!

We are calling all who carry a heart for our nation, to rise up for two strategic national strikes - one in Montreal September 30th -October 2nd and the next in Edmonton, November 25th- November 27th. Let us gather together to share vision, be equipped and through apostolic and prophetic intercession, lay hold of heaven so that the fullness of God's intended purposes for this covenantal corporateness will be fully realized at the wedding. It is time to strike and strike the ground, crying out day and night, for a corporate unity that will release a corporate authority to the church of Canada.
