Day 1 - Monday June 13th
We Will Not Bow
Joshua told the
people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do
amazing things among you.” Joshua 3:5
As the Israelites were about to enter the Promised Land, the Lord
asked them to sanctify themselves because He was about to transform
them into a victorious army.
As we begin the fast today, the Lord has spoken to us that this will
be a time of separating unto Himself a corporate army in the church
of Canada that will run together and not break rank. (Joel 2:7).
This army is the body of Christ, walking together as a family.
Prayer and Practical Actions
As we pray today:
Let us ask the Lord to increase our revelation of and love for the
body, His Bride. (1 John 4:7-12)
Let us ask the Lord to reveal in us anything that might be hindering
us from fully taking our place as a “joint” that “fitly supplies”.
(Ephesians 4:3-16)
Let us call forth the “7000” across the land who have not bowed
their knees to Baal that the Lord has reserved for such a time as
this. (1 Kings 19:18)
As a practical action throughout the fast, let us gather together
(in person or even by phone) to pray with others who are also
participating.
Let us pray together as families and meet together as churches.
Let us call others who we know have the same heart but may not yet
be aware of this time of consecration. Let us together call the
army to arise from every corner of the nation.
This will be a company like Daniel and the three young men, who
refuse to defile themselves with the ways of Babylon, but who will
stand with great faith that will please God’s heart and release the
impossible.
