Stature of the Fullness

(Ephesians 4, 1 Corinthians 13, 1 Peter 2:21-24)

When a country goes to war
many people are drafted into it.
And sometimes young men
who used to play together,
suddenly have to grow up.
And their focus changes.
As we enter into this war,
I hear the spirit of the Lord speaking
one phrase to me again and again and again.
And that phrase is: “Grow up!  Grow Up!”
For as we enter into the battle,
following the Lord of Hosts
The battle belongs to the Lord.
But we have to leave behind childish things.
No longer children, tossed about
by every wind that comes along,
by every little thing they’ve heard,
and fighting amongst each other with it.
But speaking the truth in love,
we grow up into all aspects
Into Him from whom the whole body
is held together by what every joint supplies
According to the proper working of each individual part
And all the parts are not the same
And it’s time to grow up
Because we’re not all going to be playing the same game anymore
But we’re going into battle
And this is a battle for life and for death
For the souls of men
For the maturity that belongs to
the measure of the stature of Christ
For the bride who has made herself ready
And I hear the Lord saying
“Grow up into all aspect into Him”
And I feel God wants us to meditate on who He is
Who when he was reviled he did not revile again
Who taught us, when we’re slapped on one cheek,
we turn the other cheek also
And there is going to be a required maturity for this battle
Because if we enter into this battle in immaturity,
we will be destroyed in it
But it we enter into this battle with the measure
of the stature that belongs to the fullness of Christ
Not only will we overcome for ourselves
But we will overcome and we’ll become that Bride
that brings for Him a mighty harvest of many people
Tongues, tribes, nations
And Canada will go out bringing in the sheaves
from many many many nations
For the King
Amen
