WORSHIP IN A GATHERING

Worship prepares a dwelling place for the glory of God. Isaiah 60:18 declares “…you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.” In Psalm 24, David proclaims “Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.”

During a gathering, as we worship in unity as a family, we corporately surrender our time, our talents, our resources, our wills—even our very lives—and this allows Him to lead us into the mysteries and beauty of His great heart. He begins to reveal His will and purpose for the gathering, and He leads us into songs, proclamations, decrees, prophetic acts—whatever He desires to reveal His splendour and further manifest His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

As one Body, corporately with one voice released through many expressions, we declare His marvelous deeds; we proclaim that He alone is worthy to be worshipped among all the nations! We open the gates and lift up the everlasting doors through praise, that the King of glory may enter in and manifest His presence, His love and His wisdom.

Together, the worship team and the corporate family enter into the desire of His heart as we praise, release prophetic songs and honor the Father’s desire for unity that Jesus prayed for in John 17:20-23:

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word, that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

We do not limit or dictate times or expressions of worship to our understanding but continually yield to His Spirit’s leadership.
